The VGH Youth Leadership Team proudly led a successful Shoreline Clean Up, proving that small actions can create lasting change. 🌊💙

Together with dedicated volunteers, we rolled up our sleeves to protect our environment, strengthen our community, and inspire others to care for the places we all share.

Every piece of litter removed is a step toward healthier shorelines and a brighter future. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported the cause, and showed that when young leaders take action, they can make a real difference.

为纪念她康复旅程中的重要里程碑，艺术家 Mamie Laverock 特别捐赠了其画作《Balance（平衡）》的复制版画，以表达对 温哥华综合医院（VGH） 救命之恩的衷心感谢。

这幅作品创作于她就读 Emily Carr University of Art + Design 期间，目前已装裱并设置于 Vancouver General Hospital 七楼骨科创伤病房（Ortho Trauma Unit）入口附近。这里正是 Mamie 在康复过程中度过许多时光的地方。我们对她的慷慨捐赠深表感激 💚

26 年多来，我们的艺术收藏一直是医疗中心充满创意与温暖的核心，为病人、医护人员及访客营造宁静、舒适且具有疗愈力量的环境，充分展现艺术抚慰人心的价值。

To mark a major milestone in her recovery journey, grateful patient and artist Mamie Laverock has gifted a print of her artwork, “Balance,” as a heartfelt thank you for the life-saving care she received at VGH.

Created while she was a student at Emily Carr University, the framed print is installed near the entrance of the Level 7 Ortho Trauma Unit at VGH, where Mamie spent much of her time healing. We are incredibly grateful for her generosity 💚

For over 26 years, our Art Collection has been the creative heart of our health care centres, providing a calming and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors alike.
