James Cunningham Seawall Race

This 2019 race marks the 49th running of this iconic run that was started by Lions Gate Road Runners in 1971. The race is named in honour of James Cunningham, a Scottish stonemason who made the construction of the seawall his life’s work. Although he did not live to see the completion of the seawall, LGRR felt it an appropriate tribute to him.
