Broadway Youth Resource Centre - BYRC BYRC is a Hub for youth aged 13-24. We are open by appointment from 11am-2pm, our drop in hours are 2pm-7pm!

BYRC will be closed tomorrow, September 30, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Tomorrow is a time to pause, listen, remember and honour the lives and experiences of Indigenous Peoples, including residential school Survivors, their families and communities.

October is here! 🎃 We have lots happening at BYRC this month!
We’ll be holding our YAC Meetings on October 7th and 21st from 4–5 PM. This is a great opportunity for youth to share their ideas, provide feedback and help shape what happens at BYRC.
Honorarium provided.

We’re also hosting our BYRC Fall Feast on October 20 from 4:30–6:30 PM. This is an all-ages event.
And, of course, we have plenty of Halloween activities throughout the month, including Halloween crafts on October 6th , pumpkin patch field trip on October 23rd , pumpkin carving on October 26th , and a Halloween event on October 30th .
Closures, BYRC will be closed Monday, October 12th. As always if you have any questions or would like to sign up for activity, send us a DM!

!! Drug Alert !!

VCH has issued a drug alert.
White powder in Vancouver tested positive for N-propionitrile 5-chloro desmethyl brorphine, a novel orphine analog. Orphines are synthetic opioids that generally respond to naloxone but cannot be detected using fentanyl test strips.

White rectangular tri-scored counterfeit 2mg alprazolam (Xanax) tablet with imprints " XANAX " and " 2 " seized in Vancouver tested positive for ethylflualprazolam and phenazolam, two novel benzodiazepine analogs. May cause sedation.
