Vancouver is known for a lot of great things like its people, the mountains, the rain and its open-mindedness. An issue that is sometimes swept under the rug is the abundance of homelessness in Vancouver
In a city where the most vulnerable are pushed aside for the sake of gentrification, we see shelters and people fighting for the rights of the homeless fight an uphill battle to help those in need.
Shelter Umbrellas wants to help their cause. We sell umbrellas because everyone needs a roof over their heads in a city where the rain never seems to stop.
Visit our stand at Book Warehouse on Main and King Edward in Vancouver to purchase an Umbrella today. All profits go to the Lookout Society who provide shelters and resources for the homeless.
