Loving Sairams! 🌻

We lovingly invite you and your family to join us for a special Onam Bhajan on Thursday, August 20 at the Vancouver Sai Centre. 🌸

Onam carries a timeless message through the story of King Mahabali, whose love for his people, generosity and humility are remembered even today. His kingdom is described as a time when people lived with a spirit of equality, harmony and care for one another, where no one was considered greater or lesser. 🌼

At the heart of Onam is also the story of surrender. When Lord Vamana asked Mahabali for three steps of land, Mahabali ultimately offered not simply what he possessed, but himself. It is a beautiful reminder that true devotion is found when the ego becomes smaller and our hearts become large enough to place everything at the feet of the Lord. 🌺

As we celebrate Onam together, may we come before Swami with that same spirit. 🙏

Loving Sairams!

Varalakshmi Vratam is a sacred occasion to worship Mother Lakshmi in Her many forms and seek Her blessings not only for prosperity, but for peace in our homes, good health, strength, wisdom and the well-being of our families and our community. Whether you observe Varalakshmi Vratam each year or have never participated before, we lovingly welcome you to join and experience this sacred evening.

While the ladies participate in the pooja, our brothers will support the event by capturing photos and videos and preparing dinner for everyone.

Ladies who would like to participate are kindly requested to complete the Google Form so that we can prepare the necessary pooja items.

Time: 7 - 9 PM followed by Dinner

This offering, Sai Ma, is a prayer of love and surrender to Swami, our Guru and Divine Mother. It reminds us that in every moment of longing, gratitude, joy, and stillness, we can call on Him. As a mother, He holds us. As Guru, He leads us. As God, He is always within us. 🧡

May this song be offered at His divine lotus feet with love and devotion. 🙏🙏🙇🏽‍♀️
