Ms. Queenie Choo, CEO of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Yesterday, we proudly hosted the 2025 S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Donor Recognition Ceremony at Choi Hall — a heartfelt celebration of the incredible generosity of our corporate sponsors, individual and family donors, and community partners.

We were honored to welcome The Honourable Niki Sharma, Deputy Premier and Attorney General of British Columbia, as our keynote speaker, and MLA Joan Phillip, who opened our ceremony with a meaningful Territorial Acknowledgement.

Together with our Foundation Board Chair, Brandon Hui, and CEO, Queenie Choo, we expressed our deepest gratitude to those who make our mission possible — empowering newcomers, seniors, and families to succeed on their Canadian journey.

Your commitment ensures that essential programs, from culturally appropriate seniors’ care to newcomer and community programs and affordable housing, continue to thrive in our communities.

This global day of generosity (Dec 2, 2025) is your chance to make a real difference for seniors in our community. Last year, together we raised over $44,000 to support essential services, from helpline support to compassionate long-term care.

🎉 2025 S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Community Day – A Heartwarming Success!

We’re thrilled to share that our Community Day, held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at our Head Office, was a wonderful success!

Over 55 attendees joined us for a day of learning, connection, and community spirit. Conducted in Cantonese, the event featured insightful sessions on topics meaningful to families:

💡 Financial Literacy Tips – Linda Lu, Vicky Lam & Dan Wang (Vancity)
📜 Legacy & Celebration of Life Planning – Charles Choi (Dignity Memorial) & Jessica P**n (West Coast Wills)
💖 Senior Care Services Overview – Sinder Kaur & Janet Chau (S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Multi-Level Care Society)

Guests enjoyed a guided tour of our senior care home, a light lunch, and networking, all wrapped up with a cheerful lucky draw. 🎁

We were honoured to welcome George Chow, MLA for Vancouver-Fraserview, and representatives from the Vancouver Police Department — DCC Alison Laurin, Supt. Marco Veronesi & Supt. Phil Heard — in support of this meaningful event.

✨ Thank You for Celebrating With Us! ✨

On Friday, September 12, we gathered at Choi Hall for the Walk with the Dragon 40th Anniversary Appreciation Party to celebrate and thank our amazing fundraisers, teams, and honour roll donors who made this milestone year so special.

Thanks to your support, the 2025 Walk raised over $350,000 for S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs and services! 💛
