The Food Scraps Drop Spots were set up to provide a food scraps collection service to residents of multi-unit residential buildings - who often do not have access to food scraps collection services. In addition, the project aims to gather data from the community, provide public education, and provide a forum for the community to discuss issues regarding waste reduction and food scraps recycling.
