🍦 Big thanks to everyone who stopped by our office on the 14th! The GWCPC outreach team loved connecting with our neighbours for National Creamsicle Day.

We had a great afternoon sharing free creamsicles, giving out dog treats, and chatting about crime prevention tips to keep our community safe. 🐾

We have cooling kits & resource info providing tips & suggestions how to keep cool on hot days. Please remember to check in with senior family members, neighbours and friends to see how they are managing the warmer temperatures & air quality.
Join us tomorrow 10am for Walking Grandview, our weekly Wednesday "walk & Talk" be part of the cool conversation discover how you can beat the heat.

Cool conversations were had at our Beat the Heat workshop last Friday. Our volunteers continued the conversation Saturday as they distributed free cooling kits and resource information to our local elders. Elders can get a free cooling kit at the GWCPC while quantities last.

🍪 Highlight from National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! 🍪

On Tuesday, August 4th, we celebrated National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day at the Grandview-Woodland Community Policing Centre!

We handed out sweet treats for our human neighbours and special dog biscuits for our four-legged friends. A highlight of the day was definitely a visit from a very good dog named Pumba, who completely stole the show in our photos! 🐶❤️

🎒 Help us equip local students for the school year! 🎒

The Grandview-Woodland Community Policing Centre is hosting a School Supplies Drive to support local youth in our community! Starting today through September 7th, we are collecting new, unused school supplies and donations.

✏️ Items We Are Collecting:
• Backpacks
• Notebooks & Paper
• Pencils, Pens & Highlighters
• Markers & Crayons
• Glue Sticks & Scissors
• Folders & Rulers
• Erasers

🌭 Hot dogs, great conversations, and community spirit!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our GWCPC Community Hot Dog Day. It was wonderful to connect with neighbours, introduce you to some of our fantastic volunteers, and share helpful safety tips and local resources.

We loved seeing the community come together over lunch, and we appreciate everyone who took the time to stop by and say hello. A safer neighbourhood starts with a connected community! 💙
