📌 On 18 July, over a hundred community members gathered at the R***e Stage in Granville Island for Apo Sahagian’s Armenian Musical Night!

👉 Joined by talented violinist Gorr Karapetyan, Apo delivered an unforgettable 2.5 hours non‑stop performance featuring Armenian folk, contemporary and original music. Attendees enjoyed singing and dancing all night long!

👉 Apo Sahagian successfully wrapped up his Canada 2026 musical tour in Vancouver, after performing in Montreal and Toronto earlier this summer.

👉 Here are just a few highlights from this incredible musical evening.

The Armenian Cultural Association of British Columbia is partnering with the Burnaby Village Museum in creating a Community Exhibition to launch in May 2027.

👉 This is a unique opportunity to celebrate and share our collective history and have our stories documented and made available on Burnaby Village Museum’s website.

👉 If you have lived in Burnaby, are currently living in Burnaby or on the outskirts, please get in touch with Tamar Haytayan, ACA of BC Board Member, to share your stories.

📌 West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest
👉 On Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Armenian Cultural Association of BC proudly represented Armenian culture at the West Vancouver Community Cultural Fest in Ambleside Park, for the second year in a row!
👉 Through art, history, food (courtesy of Ararat Foods), and dance (performed by the Hamazkayin Massis Dance Group and Talin Aroushian Khederlarian with a special solo Nazbar), our pavilion brought a piece of Armenia to the festival.
👉 Volunteers from across our community came together to share what our culture is all about, offering visitors chess games, Armenian alphabet tag-making, trivia, a rug display by local expert Arto Tavukciyan, and even a live recording for broadcast on the Armenian Radio Hour.

A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and talent to make this happen!
