To connect, build and empower diverse communities through hands-on activities that promote health, well-being and environmental stewardship

We Support Communities To:
- Develop a sense of belonging to community and place
- Connect to nature, which increases health, well-being and environmental stewardship
- Learn a

bout how climate change impacts them and the actions they can take locally
- Realize they have the power to make a difference
- Build teamwork and leadership skills
- Join existing environmental programs and groups

Activities To Date:
- Identifying and removing invasive plants
- Planting native plant species
- Picking up litter along shorelines and in parks
- Preparing vegetable beds
- Harvest vegetables

Geographic Area Served:
Lower Mainland and Greater Victoria. In the future we plan to create green teams in other urban areas in BC and across Canada

Demographic:
We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and experience levels to participate in our activities. Notably, we focus on engaging the demographic aged 12-30 who spend little time outdoors.
