Neekoo Philanthropic Society Neekoo Philanthropic Society began as an idea, a dream, a hope. Neekoo, as the word means, is rooted in the vision: to provide goodness and guidance.

A group of proud Iranians joining forces to form a non- profit organization through which we create unique exclusive events to raise funds in order to help students through scholarships, so they can achieve their dreams and pursue their passions. Our vision in establishing Neekoo has been to organize an event once a year to bring our community together. From there, we hope to help the younger gene

ration who could use a helping hand to succeed in their dreams and enable them to pursue their passion by providing them with financial assistance as well as mentorship. Our vision for Neekoo is to create a new culture of giving and to teach the youth the ultimate gift of compassion, humanity and contribution. It is through these sorts of initiatives that we aim to continue to expand the circle of love and human kindness. Neekoo is a non-profit initiative founded by a group of proud Iranian professionals living in Vancouver. Our group consists of Iranians from a wide variety of backgrounds including healthcare, reputable entrepreneurs, management consultants, human resource professionals, UBC graduates, communication specialists, IT, hospitality, artists and loving mothers, joining forces to make a difference and giving back to our community. Our hope is to start a movement amongst our community, inspiring the youth by being role models in giving back, and helping those in need to succeed. The Neekoo Philanthropic Society is comprised of the following Directors of the Board:
