Progress Lab 1422 (PL1422) is an independent theatre creation, rehearsal and development hub located

Progress Lab 1422, a 7,000 sq ft centre for creation and development in East Vancouver. The hub now home to eight resident companies with a deeply-felt spirit of collaboration, community and resource-sharing, an innovative and co-operative joint venture. Resident companies include three of the four original companies including: Neworld, Rumble, Electric Company. Progress Lab 1422 is happy to intro

duce Playwrights Theatre Centre, Rice & Beans, Company 605, Tara Cheyenne and Theatre Conspiracy to the Vancouver East Side theatre community hub. Progress Lab 1422 is managed by Vancouver Creative Space Society.

We are inviting submissions from companies and individuals interested in tenancy at PL1422 and becoming part of its vibrant community. New resident companies will be selected based on shared values, alignment with space needs, and a commitment to a one-year or multi-year lease.

Email your proposal to [email protected] with the subject line "PL1422 Proposal." Be sure to include who you are and why you would be a great addition to PL1422. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a viewing.
