𝗜𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀

May 2026 IITTI "Business Level 1" training + exam at Macau Institute of Management (MIM 澳門管理學院). The trainer is Catherine Cheong, a Licensed IITTI Trainer.

This certification requires both the "muscle memory" of actual training experience + online written exam for candidates to earn the IITTI Business Level 1 standing with 70 World Civility Index points.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅?

It helps job candidates stand out. For companies, it helps with (1) HR recruitment and building corporate culture, (2) independent measurable data for ESG reporting.

IITTI World Civility Index has been invited by MIT Presencing Institute's Regenerative Futures Lab to talk about indigenous youths working with non-indigenous youths to face a common challenge in climate and land management.

Here Patrick Chun, co-founder of IITTI, answering Eva Pomeroy,
Research Lead at Presencing Institute, and talks about what question to ask for a regenerative future.

The aim is to create meaningful careers for the 21st century. It is based on providing an "integrity layer" for the carbon-capture industry.

One more step to the "Humanity Hub Richmond" concept. (IITTI established a Humanity Hub in Hong Kong-Macau region in 2025, and now a second Hub is contemplated for the Vancouver/Richmond region of Canada.)

AI ethics discussion at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, with Prof Matissa Hollister, IITTI co-founder Patrick Chun and Prof Hollister's fourth-year undergrad business students in BUSA471 - Artificial Intelligence Ethics for Business. Here is the strategy:

1.) Policy: Use AI for augmentation for human decisions.
2.) Implementation: Build AI with cultural sensitivity "baked in".
3.) Reporting: IITTI World Civility Index should have a distinct section reporting AI-related activities (role-playing, etc.) vs. other effort-based activities (reading, seminars, etc.).

Our IITTI co-founder, Patrick Chun, will be speaking at the International Centre for Protocol and Diplomacy (Global Institution) on future-proofing of soft skills professionals.

The essence is to have a hybrid delivery model where digital deliveries can be assisted by AI, while face-to-face deliveries will focus on human-centric qualities such as shared, human experiences that no AI, no matter how smart, can come close.

𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿, 𝗧𝗩 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄

Like in the popular TV show "Black Mirror", is the World Civility Index an unfair, dystopian social credit system, or a leveling equal playing field?

The World Civility Index is an optional incentive program to encourage empathy and good manners. Everybody starts at zero regardless of class, race, or religion. It doesn't care if you are 𝗘𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗸 or the 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱! If you don't put in the effort to read the articles, watch the videos, or attend webinars, you get zero points.

Any inventions or tools can be used for good or evil. The issue is not with the tool itself but with the policy-makers using a tool with self-serving agenda. And with the intrinsic design of the World Civility Index having everyone starts at zero, it replaces inherited privilege with earned merit.

The World Civility Index removes systemic bias and places the power of progress back in the hands of the individual, 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿-𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 to any existing social standing. It is a corrective tool rather than a surveillance tool.

Ms. Ongorn Umapornsakula, hotel owner in Patong, Phuket Island, Thailand successfully wrote the Business 'Level 1' exam on Aug18, 2025, earning seventy (70) World Civility Index points.

There are two paths to earning World Civility Index points: Path (1) Reading Program & Activities, Path (2) Written Exams (as in this case).

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝘅?

This Index is somewhat similar to a person's credit rating, but instead of measuring how well a person can pay his bills, it measures a person's soft skills such as business etiquette, empathy, intercultural awareness.

The concept is that job-seekers can get the credential based on the World Civility Index, as proof, to show to employers worldwide.

From an employer's point of view, they get to raise company culture simply by requesting job-applicants to have this credential, before coming on board. HR can also use such for internal performance evaluation, a new kind of KPI (key performance indicator) that traditionally had been difficult to quantify.

For business professionals, this allows them to use this credential as a competitive edge in winning business proposals, competitions, sales.

𝟭𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟮

The 13th year will be on real skills, giving young people meaning and purpose. For governments, this will also "cut" unemployment for youth, as young people will be occupied for 13 years instead of 12.

𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗖𝗜 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀

What gets measured gets improved.

Dr. Dianne Tsen, Licensed IITTI Instructor, once again led soft skills training for the Malaysian Government. This time for a large group of PR officers for the State Public Communication Unit (UKAS) in Kuching, Malaysia.

Every participant earns one (1) World Civility Index point as proof.

The World Civility Index not only can be used for internal 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as a concrete KPI, but also for recruitment purposes -- an "𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴" that signals to job-applicants that the organization is serious about human capital development, not just lip service.
