We have released a Consultation Paper on Rethinking Strata Leaseholds.

Strata leasehold housing offers long-term leases of strata lots rather than outright ownership, with the landowner retaining ownership of the underlying land.

This project examines issues that have caused, or are expected to cause, practical and legal challenges for parties involved in strata leaseholds and sets out tentative recommendations for targeted legislative reform.

We’d love to hear your thoughts. Please take part in the consultation and share your feedback by November 20.
