The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an important day to learn about and reflect upon the harmful legacy of residential schools and ongoing impacts of colonialism. We stand in support of Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc and condemn the discriminatory actions they are facing in their community.

We also raise our hands in thanks to the Indigenous legal professionals and partners who contribute to our independent law reform work, and today particularly to our Reconciling Crown Legal Frameworks program.
