The Venturers joined with Venturer Companies from around the Area to have an activity filled weekend from February 27 to 29.

We look forward to when we can have more fun Scouting adventurers, but for now we'll take a look back at the last camp we had before everyone started to stay at home!

After having such a great time at our June Leadership Camp, we wanted to come together for another Camp. This time we had an even bigger weekend filled with fun and friendship. Big shout outs to the following Companies! 9th St Thomas, 16th Beaconsfield, 33rd Buddha's Light, 69th Knights of Kensington, and 138th East Vancouver.

We look forward to many more happy memories together!

A look back to the beginning of summer when we made many new friends at the Venturer Leadership Camp. Looking forward to getting together again next weekend with even more friends!

2019-06-22 - The Venturers organized a camp with the 9th, 69th, 138th Companies to try out the new Scouts Canada Youth Leadership Training materials.

We hope that the youth continue to find opportunities to cooperate on more projects in the future!

We'd also like to thank the kitchen volunteers and the Scouters who attended to provide supervision and feedback on the sessions.

Thanks to 32nd Richmond Scout Group for planning a successful and entertaining camp F.E.S.T! We had a great time interacting with other scouts and creating everlasting friendships. We hope to see an equally great F.E.S.T next year! (looking at you 9th St Thomas Scout Group)

Congratulation to the five QVA recipients on officially receiving their rewards! although they were nervous during the serious ceremony they were able to still have fun and take many funny (yim stare) and serious photos to show off their newly earned awards. We hope to see more members receiving this prestigious award in the future!

On April 22, 2017, our Venturers attended the annual BC/Y QVA Ceremony at Government House to receive their Award Certificates from The Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia. There were 71 recipients this year from around BC/Y, congratulations everyone!

Our QVA recipients enjoyed a wonderful but windy day sail on a orca class vessel courtesy of the Royal Canadian Navy. They enjoyed the cheerful and welcoming navel personnel, and most importantly had fun!

Thanks to all the dedicated future QVA holders for coming out and making the community a better place by cleaning up the streets (not of crime). we'll be looking forward to seeing those patches on your chest soon!
