When it comes to adaptive snow sports, the right equipment can make a huge difference. It helps our students experience the mountain with more safety, confidence, independence, and joy. ❄️

The Snoyak is one of the amazing tools that gives students the opportunity to learn, explore, and enjoy being out on the mountain in a way that works for them.

Equipment is one of the areas VASS continues to invest in, and we’re always grateful for the support of our community. Every contribution helps us keep adaptive equipment available and continue making the mountains more accessible, inclusive, and fun for everyone.

If you’re planning to volunteer with VASS this season, you can now register. Student registration will open on October 18. 🏂⛷️

New to VASS and looking for a way to give back to the community, get trained, meet great people, and be part of an incredible adaptive snowsports program? We’d love to have you with us.

Warren Miller’s 77th annual film takes you from the deep powder of Japan and legendary Alaska terrain to Chamonix, Deer Valley and some of Canada’s best mountains. Hosted by Katie Burrell, it’s all about no agenda, no competition — just pure, unscripted joy. 🎬

❤️ Your ticket supports VASS programs that help people with disabilities experience the freedom and joy of the mountain.

🎥 AFTERNOON — 2:30 PM
$30 | Doors 1:30 PM

🌙 EVENING — 7:00 PM
Early Bird $50 until Sept. 30 | Regular $60
Doors 6:00 PM

🎟️ Evening tickets include a weekday Mt Seymour lift ticket + $25 Buff Wax voucher from North Shore Ski & Board, plus giveaways and lobby activities.

Happy National Nonprofit Day! 💙🎿

Today we celebrate the heart of VASS — our incredible volunteers, learners, families, supporters and community partners who make inclusion on the slopes possible.

For more than 50 years, Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports has been creating opportunities for people of all abilities to experience the freedom, joy and challenge of snow sports.

Behind every lesson, every new skill, every breakthrough and every big smile is a community that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to participate.

We are so grateful to the hundreds of nationally certified volunteer instructors who give their time, expertise and passion — and to everyone who supports VASS and helps us continue to grow.

Nonprofits change lives. Volunteers make it happen. And together, we make a difference.
