Dear Parents and Families,
After many wonderful years of providing German language education to children in our community, it is with a heavy heart that we announce the decision to close the East Van German School. This decision was made at our last Annual General Meeting on October 29, 2024, after careful consideration of the school's future and its ability to continue meeting the needs of our students and families.
We will be formally dissolving the society as part of this process, and while this is a sad moment for all of us, we want to express our deepest gratitude to all the students, families, teachers, and community members who have supported us throughout the years. Your commitment to learning and sharing the German language and culture has been truly inspiring, and it has been our privilege to be part of this journey with each of you.
Our website will remain active for the next few months as we complete the dissolution process, and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions during this time.
Thank you again for being such an important part of the East Van German School community. We wish you all the best as you continue on your language-learning journey, and we hope that the love for German language and culture will continue to thrive in your families and beyond.
