A new online platform is rolling into the global biking scene. crankslist.com is a buy-and-sell website designed specifically for cyclists created by a local rider who saw a gap in existing online marketplaces.

The goal is simple: make it easier for cyclists to connect, trade and keep quality gear in circulation — all while supporting the biking community. From mountain bikes and road gear to accessories and parts, crankslist offers a streamlined, rider-friendly way to post listings, find deals and meet fellow enthusiasts.

Currently active in Canada, the US, UK, New Zealand and Australia, crankslist is in beta mode and improving every day, with new updates and features being rolled out regularly.

Former Ryan Kesler, has been with two misdemeanor counts of criminal sexual conduct in the fourth degree, according to court records.

Kesler, 41, was arraigned Monday in a Bloomfield Hills, Mich., courtroom, where he pleaded not guilty to the charges, which were filed against him on Oct. 23 over events on Jan. 1, according to court records. His next court appearance, a probable cause conference, is scheduled for Nov. 6.

A motorcyclist in his early 20s is in critical condition after a fiery crash with a truck on Highway 99 in Squamish Tuesday evening. The highway was shut down for hours as emergency crews responded. Police are investigating and seeking witnesses.

Stacey Tourout and Matthew Yeomans ran Toyota World Runners, a channel with 200,000 subscribers, showcasing offroad trips through B.C. and the world.

The search for a missing 20-year-old man in the area has been suspended.

have said more than 50 people were on the ground looking for Alex Nguyen, who was last seen on when he was with his family in Shannon Falls Provincial Park.

Nguyen was last seen wearing flip flops, grey shorts and a cross-body bag.

He was visiting the park with his family and search and rescue said his last cellphone ping was at 3:30 p.m. on the Sea to Summit Trail, where it connects with Upper Shannon Falls.

Crankworx has grown from a local event into the heart of a global tour, setting the stage for elite and amateur competition, youth and Kidsworx events, industry engagement, and the biggest crowds in mountain biking.
This year's festival is set to deliver a powerful lineup, with the return of the RockShox Canadian Open Downhill on Whistler Mountain Bike Park's iconic and extremely demanding 1199 track being one of many highlights. Friends and colleagues of three men killed when an avalanche buried a group of heli-skiers in southeast B.C. are remembering them as giants in the ski and snowboard community.

Jeff Keenan, 44, from , Jason Remple, 53, from , and 45-year-old Alex Pashley from were on a tour with Heli Skiing when they were buried by a slide Monday afternoon while waiting for their helicopter to pick them up.

The sole survivor of the slide, a 40-year-old man from , is in critical condition in hospital. The is still investigating the cause of the avalanche at this time.
