. KOM CPC is a community-based, volunteer-operated organization that assists the Vancouver Police Department with community safety.

We offer a range of services oriented to deterring crime and educating the public on safety. Our services include:

Eyes on the neighbourhood! 🕵️‍♀️
Our amazing KOM CPC volunteers are on foot patrol, keeping our community safe & connected. As the extra eyes and ears of our community, our volunteers
keep an eye out for anything suspicious, unusual, or out of the
ordinary-and report their observations back to the Vancouver

Our incredible volunteers have been out in our catchment doing speed watch and keeping an extra eye out for speeding and impaired drivers. 👀🚗 Your commitment to keeping our roads and community safer does NOT go unnoticed! 🙌👏

A little reminder for everyone behind the wheel:
🍺 If you drink, don’t drive.
🚫 Never drive impaired by alcohol, cannabis, or other substances.
📱 Put the phone away and stay focused.
🐢 Slow down — getting there safely is what matters most.
🚕 Plan ahead and choose a safe ride home.

Our volunteers have been out patrolling and connecting with community members across the KOM catchment area! 🤝

We’ve noticed a rise in theft from vehicles in Marpole, and we’re helping spread the word about a few simple steps you can take to protect your vehicle and belongings. 🚗🔒

✨ keep your vehicle safe:
🔹 Never leave valuables in your vehicle, even for a few minutes.
🔹 Keep bags, electronics, and other items out of sight. 👀
🔹 Always lock your doors and close your windows. 🔐
🔹 Park in well-lit, busy areas whenever possible. 💡
🔹 Take your keys and belongings with you every time. 🔑

A few extra seconds can make a big difference! 🙌 Let’s stay alert, look out for one another, and keep our community safe. 🏘️

On Aug 15th, we had an amazing opportunity to support the Vancouver Police Foundation K-9 Kennel event alongside Vancouver Police Department and 👮‍♂️🐕

It was an engaging and memorable experience for our volunteers, who had the chance to connect with VPD officers and learn firsthand 🐕‍🦺✨

One of the great benefits of volunteering with is getting hands-on opportunities to participate in community events and work alongside our community partners. 🤝

What a fantastic afternoon! ☀️🎉

On August 9, our volunteers had an amazing time at a community BBQ with MP Taleeb Noormohamed at Queen Elizabeth Park! 🍔🌳

We loved connecting with community members, sharing great conversations, and enjoying an afternoon filled with good food, great company, and community spirit!

We’ve noticed an increase in thefts from vehicles around Riley Park, so we wanted to share a quick reminder. Our amazing volunteers have been out in the area, helping raise awareness, keep an eye out, and discourage theft. 👀🚲🙌

A few simple ways to protect your vehicle:

🔒 Lock your doors and close your windows
🚗 Don’t leave valuables visible inside
🎒 Take bags, electronics, and other valuables with you
💡 Park in well-lit, busy areas when possible
📱 If you see something suspicious, report it and don’t approach anyone yourself
