New Taiwanese Generation 新新人類 UBC NTG - Ubcntg

We are a half cultural / half social club, seeking to bring Taiwanese culture to our UBC Vancouver campus and pushing to break social barriers between individuals. NTG has been operated by student volunteers and has attracted more than 1000 members since it was established in 1998. At NTG, we strive to help students adjust to university life, make meaningful relationships, and create memorable experiences. We believe that university is not only an opportunity to further your education but also to explore different aspects of the student community. In order to create a platform for students to enjoy university life and build social networks, NTG executives work hard to deliver a variety of events such as Icebreakers, Halloween Event, Game Nights, and Monthly Dine-Outs. Our club offers a welcoming space for new and ongoing student members, who may or may not be interested in Taiwanese culture. In light of returning to campus, NTG is excited to resume in-person events and meetups after a deficit in social and cultural exchange, due to COVID-19. Additionally, we are piloting a new mentorship program this school year. Follow our page for more details!
