The Ripple Effect: The Strength of Sisters

For girls like Monorum and Malai, graduation isn’t just about getting a diploma. It’s about opening the door to a brighter tomorrow.

After the loss of their parents, these two sisters gave up on their dreams for the future. They dropped out of school, forced to work in a factory in Phnom Penh with only one goal—to survive.

It was their introduction to and the World Housing Girls to Grannies Village that gave them their future back. Now they have a safe place to live while they finish their education, as both of them work hard to complete Grade 12 this year. Their journey with CCF has taken them far from the factory floor, and it’s only just beginning.

Caleb’s community is coming to life! Our partners have been hard at work, building homes for families living in the Stueng Mean Chey area of Phnom Penh. 🌍💛

This area, formerly a garbage dump, will become a safe, clean community for families to raise their children, where fresh water, nutritious food, and access to education are built into the foundation of the neighbourhood.

Construction is racing ahead of schedule, with the community now officially 60% complete! With occupancy expected by early November, we’re so close to the finish line.
