Here is another beneficiary from the Gadget it Forward program. Juliet is a teacher by profession . She is considered deaf-blind. To explain a little, Juliet is completely deaf but has limited vision. She is so happy with the upgrade to a new Samsung A12. Here are her exact words "Wow, thank you so much...this phone can type so fast compared to my previous"
We know many deaf and/or blind people in Africa have no phones and we challenge you to put a smile on someone. https://deafandblind.org/gadget-it-forward/

Happy Holidays!!
On 1st January, we will officially be 9 months old. We are so grateful for the reception received so far. Disability is not inability as many can attest nowadays. Our journey is just starting yet we have so much work to do however the good news is we are grateful for every step of the way.
We are happy to inform you that we have a fully functional website that is ADA & WCAG compliant. Thanks to accessiBe for the partnership with us. Our website is compliant to many things like; Blind-users, Seizure safe, Cognitive disability, Keyboard navigation, etc.
We are also pleased to inform you that we launched our Gadget It Forward program: In here, we ask those who wish to donate their phones or laptops to sign up on our website under the Gadget It Forward tab. Those who wish to apply for free gadgets, a link is under Smartphone Application. We are pleased to let you know that some beneficiaries have received these already.
