Why we Ride
This is the number one question I think we all get asked... So why do we?
I think in order to know why we ride you need to know who we are... Team Fairmont is made up of a diverse group of passionate eager individuals who all have a personal vision to make a positive difference in the communities and the world we live in.
None of us are Tour De France participants as much as we might like to think... But we never give up... Each and every one of us in some way have been touched by the negative affects of Cancer. We ALL want to change the statistics to decrease the amount of people that die from Cancer or Cancer related illnesses every year. So we ride... We train every week and we rack up hundreds of Kilometres between us... We remind people that there is a way to make a positive difference in the world. We create events surrounding our cause that help raise money and awareness for the bigger picture.
We are Parents, Brothers, Sisters, Friends, Wives and Husbands... We are colleagues and business partners... But most of all we are just humans who want to make a positive change and help those who can’t help themselves...
