Solidarity Cycle practices are now starting at 8am on Saturdays. Cyclists train with a friendly, supportive group that leaves from the Queens Park Arena in preparation for Solidarity Cycle on Sept. 8. This is a fundraising cycle ride in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers Campaign.

Registration for Solidarity Cycle opens tomorrow. If you are a cyclist and want to support social justice for African Grandmothers join us! This year there are more rides to choose from... 4 x 25 Km rides on Sundays in August and the 50/100km ride on Sept. 8.

Practice rides for Solidarity Cycle start May 4. You can join this friendly group of cyclists and prepare to ride 50 or 100 km by the end of the summer. But wait! There's more ... you can do your 100km in 4 sessions called "Friendship Rides" on weekends in August. These local rides will take cyclists on bike rides and byways in various Lower Mainland locations stopping for BBQ or picnic. Just fun and friendship --- all for a good cause.
