✨ Member Spotlight: Stocksy

What if the images shaping our world were made by the artists who own the platform? That's the Stocksy difference.

Stocksy is the world's only artist-owned stock media cooperative β€” built around relevant, progressive visuals and a radical idea: that creativity thrives when creatives are in charge. Since 2012, they've proven that collective ownership leads to fairer pay, stronger work and imagery with integrity.

With over 1,800 artists across 80+ countries and a library of more than 2 million hand-selected visuals, Stocksy is challenging an industry long overdue for change. No race to the bottom. No sidelining artists for profit. Just authentic storytelling, democratic governance, and a global community that puts values first.

Co-ops, built for everyone. πŸ’š

✨ Member Spotlight: The Animation Co-op

What if the people doing the creative work also owned the studio? That's exactly how The Animation Co-op operates β€” and it makes all the difference.

Based in BC, The Animation Co-op is a worker-owned production company offering animation and motion graphics services from development to final cut. Their small, experienced team has brought powerful stories to life for organizations like the Canadian Labour Congress, CBC, and IATSE β€” helping explain workers' rights, navigate public health crises, and open conversations about mental health.

When workers are owners, the mission matters. Every project The Animation Co-op takes on reflects their values: care, creativity, and craft β€” not just a bottom line.

Co-ops, built for everyone. πŸ’š
