Ready for the BEST. SUMMER. EVER? Come and work at Camp Potlatch! We are currently hiring for seasonal summer positions.

Camp Potlatch, a wilderness Summer Camp and Outdoor Centre located on 133 acres along the picturesque shores of Howe Sound, is operated by BGC South Coast BC, which provides a wide range of social development and recreational services to children, youth, and families in the Lower Mainland.

At Camp Potlatch, sandy beaches and unspoiled hiking territory create an idyllic environment to work, explore and play! Even though it is less than an hour from Vancouver, the camp is truly isolated in pristine wilderness and is only accessible by boat.

That means your summer could look like:
-Seeing INCREDIBLE things like whales and wildlife and oceanfront sunsets
-Making friends for life
-Days off in between sessions to spend time at home
-Helping give kids and youth an amazing summer camp experience
-SO many memories!

Today is... kind of a big deal. It's BGC Club Day! All across our Clubs, we are celebrating in ALL the ways. We are playing games with friends and loved ones, doing crafts, and of course, sharing meals. Why? Well, we have a lot to be excited about!

Every day after school (and all summer long!), our Clubs open their doors to kids and youth. We're there to listen. To let them fail (safely) and believe in them still, and to give them a place that really feels like THEIR place!

When kids and youth have that, they become better leaders. They learn to make decisions that are good for them. They want to explore their interests. And, they develop the skills that they need to have strong, healthy relationships. When kids are spending time at BGC, they are spending time becoming EXACTLY who they are meant to be!

That's why we are celebrating MORE kids spending MORE time in MORE Clubs!

This past year, more kids and youth spent time at BGC. That means more incredible human impact right here in our communities, and we have no plans of slowing down.

So, today, we hope you'll celebrate BGC Club Day with us, because YOU help make this place the BEST place.

Friday, June 5th is BGC Club Day! That's right, we have our very own day!

We'll be celebrating AAAALL the amazing kids and youth at our Clubs, and the incredible things that happen for them during their time at BGC.

Wanna celebrate with us? Our goal is to reach as many kids, youth, and families in our communities as possible. And, you can help by telling your friends all about us! Because when MORE kids spend MORE time at BGC, our impact is MORE, too!

Huge thank you to Best Buy Canada for building supply kits for our Clubs as part of National Volunteer Week! They came together during in support of BGC South Coast and built 288 supply kits for our 10 neigbourhood Clubs! Because of their commitment to community, kids and youth at BGC, our kids and youth will feel more confident, supported, and ready to learn. We’re so grateful for partners who show up in such meaningful, hands‑on ways.
