It was an absolute honor to visit Vancouver City Hall today again and engage in meaningful dialogue with Vancouver City Councillors! Every exchange like this provides a priceless opportunity for our youth to broaden their horizons, stay connected with the community, and spark new ideas.

A heartfelt thank you for the warm reception and candid insights. We truly look forward to future collaborations as we work together to bring even greater possibilities to our city and community!

Volunteer to Leadership Workshop

Beyond Volunteer Hours. Build Real Leadership.

Join Volunteer to Leadership, an exclusive small-group workshop hosted by VYVA (Vancouver Young Volunteer Association), with venue support from Lux Education.

Designed for just 15 students, this interactive workshop helps youth understand the value of volunteering in Canada and how meaningful volunteer experiences can develop leadership, communication, teamwork, and career-ready skills.

Parents are warmly invited to attend the 40-minute professional training session to learn how volunteer experiences can strengthen university applications, scholarships, and future career opportunities.

The workshop also features mock interviews and a Volunteer Recruitment Fair, where students can connect directly with community organizations, gain real interview experience, and explore volunteer opportunities.
