Raíces Latin American Cultural Society We are a community-based non-profit organization that works with Latin American communities in Vancouver and surrounding areas.

We seek to facilitate and support projects with the aim of unifying and celebrating the diverse Latin American communities. WHAT WE DO /ENVISION:
•Community Projects
-community garden
-sports (i.e.: softball)
-community forums
-scholarships / mentoring
-festivals and fundraisers

•Arts and Culture
-open mic
-language education/studies
-diverse cultural events
-movie screenings
-workshops (i.e.:

art, theatre, food)

•Solidarity
-environmental justice
-awareness of immigrant and refugee issues
-cross-community building (local and international)
