Kits House Kits House is a registered non-profit, charity organization dedicated to providing important services and programs to all residents on Vancouver’s Westside.

Our programs support children, families, youth, newcomers and seniors. Kitsilano Neighbourhood House (‘Kits House’), member of the Association of Neighbourhood Houses BC, is a registered non-profit, charity organization dedicated to meeting the needs of those most vulnerable as well as providing an opportunity for everybody in our community to get together and be engaged. We offer many different p

rograms like volunteer-led English Conversation Circles, weekly hot lunches for seniors, childcare and much more. Kitsilano Neighbourhood House is the only Neighbourhood House on the Westside and serves many different communities like Kitsilano, Dunbar, Arbutus Ridge and Point Grey.

Care Together: Learning Lab for Caregivers (Online Event)

Join Mount Pleasant, South Vancouver, and Kitsilano Neighbourhood Houses for an engaging afternoon of learning, connection, and community. Caregivers will hear from local experts, explore practical strategies through interactive activities, and enjoy music and conversation in a welcoming online community café. Anyone is welcome. Information geared towards older adults and seniors.

Join us for a BC Seniors Week celebration as BEST Mobility and Vancouver Cycling Without Age launch Seniors Ride to the Park in partnership with Kitsilano Neighbourhood House!

🕐 1:00–2:15 pm: Interactive workshop on using public transit to access green spaces
🕑 2:15–3:00 pm: Group excursion to a park
🕒 3:00–4:00 pm: Optional trishaw rides with Vancouver Cycling Without Age 🚲

Participants receive a Compass Card loaded with $5 for travel.

English Conversation Circles at Kits House offer a warm and welcoming space to practice speaking English, build confidence, and connect with others in the community.

Led by friendly volunteer hosts, participants will enjoy relaxed conversations about everyday topics like food, family, hobbies, and life in Vancouver.

This program welcomes all English levels and is open to ages 16+

Please note: We are NOT opening the camp during the week of June 29th – July 3rd. (Week 1 will be July 6th – 10th)
