The CHCC is administered by an elected board, known collectively as the Champlain Heights Community Association. Their responsibilities include shaping programming, hiring staff, raising funds, accessing grants, developing rental policy, advocating for our parks an

d ensuring that decisions affecting the community are made at the grassroots level. The revenue generated through programs and rentals stays in our community and is invested in activities for children, special events, facility enhancements and park programs. The Association advocates for this community on a number of levels and your voice helps us better represent the community. Let us know how this Centre can serve you and how you would like to be involved. Your contribution can be anywhere from an hour at an event to serving on the Board of Directors or on one of its committees. http://champlainheightscc.ca/

We are looking for committed volunteers to take part in our monthly bird census.

We are looking for intermediate or experienced birders, however we will also consider beginner birders who show commitment to learning and attending sessions.

Our census session will consist of 2-4 volunteers following an established route through Everett Crowley Park and recording all bird species observed by sight and sound.

If you are interested in contributing to community science and ongoing bird surveying in Everett Crowley Park, fill out our Google form via the link in our bio. If you are looking for more information, email ecpcstewards.ca.

Join our Youth Summer Day Camp Volunteer Orientation at Champlain Heights Community Centre!

This orientation is required for youth interested in volunteering in our summer day camp programs. Come ready to participate in games, meet fellow volunteers, and learn what it takes to be part of an energetic and supportive camp team.
