There are so many reasons people choose social work and so many meaningful moments that keep us connected to the profession.

Maybe it is supporting someone through a difficult time, advocating for meaningful change, building relationships, strengthening communities, or seeing the impact of your work.

What is your favourite part of being a social worker? Share your answer in the comments. We would love to hear from you. 💚

September is coming — let’s chat. 🍂

As a new academic year begins, BCASW would love to connect with Schools of Social Work across BC.

If you teach in a School of Social Work and would like us to speak to your class, we’d be happy to join you in person or virtually. It’s a great opportunity to connect students with the Association, share more about the profession, and highlight the supports, membership opportunities, and student Community of Practice available through BCASW.

We are committed to supporting social work students and building strong connections across the province.

If you would like to arrange a class visit, please get in touch — we’d love to chat.

Happy Pride from the BC Association of Social Workers. 🌈

BCASW proudly celebrates and stands in solidarity with 2SLGBTQIA+ people and communities across British Columbia.
