The Vancouver Tool Library The Vancouver Tool Library is a cooperative tool lending library in East Vancouver, British Columbia.

Our shop is equipped with a wide variety of tools for home repair, gardening, and bicycle maintenance, which are loaned to our members free of charge. We also offer affordable workshops on tool-related skills and projects. Membership with the VTL costs $20 for a lifetime co-op share, plus a $45 annual maintenance fee ($30 for students/low income), and you can sign up for yours at the shop. As a co-op, every dollar at VTL is reinvested back into the organization and our members!

Our Board has approved the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, outlining how we plan to invest nearly $70,000 into the programs, services, and initiatives that strengthen our community.

Thank you to our members for making these investments possible. Together, we’re continuing to grow our cooperative into one that prioritizes connection, opportunity, and impact!

The AGM is your opportunity to hear straight from the Board of Directors what they and the committees are working on, get a report about our operations over the last year, and add your voice to the conversation about our future.
