With growing consumer awareness and demand for forest products that come from ethical, sustainable, or regional sources, there is an opportunity for small scale forest producers to differentiate the value of their practices and story in the marketplace. ThisForest is a pilot initiative of Ecotrust Canada and forest industry, communities, and consumer partners, which is tested in partnership with t

he BC Community Forests Association and the Canadian Model Forest Network. The project aims at building a low-cost traceability system that creates direct links between small scale producers and consumers.
