Message from Aspire Fine ARts School:
Aspire Fine Arts School is a vibrant studio with a new, 9000 sqft facility in Surrey and over 200 students. Our music program was recently voted 'Best music studio' in the Cloverdale Reporter and we are looking for an additional FULL TIME MUSIC TEACHER to help us expand in the 2018-2019 school year.
Our ideal candidate would be able to teach a variety of instruments including piano, guitar and drums. Voice an other instruments are an asset.This person would have experience with teaching young children ages 5-12yrs and managing a classroom environment effectively, have excellent communication skills, conduct themselves in a professional manner, and project enthusiasm, energy and positivity.The ability to teach a preschooler music class such as a Kindermusik or similar program OR willingness to train for this is an asset as well. We require a teacher who will be, organized, self motivated and dedicated to the position to oversee and manage the music program as a whole while mentoring and providing leadership to the other teachers. Living locally and having a vehicle is an asset. BA in Music or other formal certification required.
This position has set hours from 1-7pm Monday to Friday with availability possibly needed on Saturdays as well. We take care of our employees! A full dental and health care benefits package plus competitive salary is offered for this position. The start date is September 4th.
