Decked out in pink 96 women golfers recently swung their way to raising $70,000 for CLICK. The first Flamingle Classic was held at the Musqueam Golf and Learning Academy (https://www.facebook.com/MusqueamGolf https://www.instagram.com/musqueamgolf/) and was a resounding and super fun success.

Knowing that 20% of Vancouver children live in poverty inspired the women to golf and donate to help these children.

The women heard from Jennifer Ju at a post-game dinner at the Musqueam course. Now a teacher, Jennifer grew up in poverty in the Downtown Eastside and helped by CLICK, coaches and other mentors achieved her goals.

Huge thanks from the CLICK team to Judy McHardy, who conceived and organized the event, and all the volunteers who made the afternoon run so smoothly. Also, many thanks to all the women who golfed and donated with such enthusiasm to help CLICK help kids.
