The False Creek Sprint Canoe Club is your Vancouver centre for competitive Sprint Canoe and Kayak programs for both youth and adults. Come out and try it!

Since 1985, FCSCC has been the centre for competitive Sprint Canoeing and Kayaking in Vancouver. Located on Granville Island, the club focusses on Sprint Canoe & Kayak, but works closely with False Creek Racing Canoe Club to offer a multidisciplinary approach to paddling for all levels from novice to competitive.

Happy from all of us at the False Creek Sprint Canoe Club! ✨

This year was truly one of a kind. We began with Coach Paul Wycherley, who set us on a fantastic path until April 1st when he was named as the new Head of Men’s Kayak Coach for Team Canada 🇨🇦 — a huge achievement we’re so proud of!

A massive shout-out as well to Coach Othon Diaz, who stepped in right as we entered into race season and guided us through an amazing season with true dedication, passion, and energy. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌

Here’s to both of our incredible coaches this past season. 💪 and

False creek just finished up racing in Regina where our athletes had the chance to show off the hard work they’ve been putting in all season. We saw some great results and are so proud of all of our athletes!!

Our athletes just arrived home from Newfoundland where they competed at the 2025 Canada summer games representing team BC. While racing was hard and conditions were challenging our athletes still raced to their bests.
