Take a closer look at Susana Cogan Place. Opened in 2023, this Tikva property offers 20 affordable rental homes in South Burnaby, developed in partnership with Polygon Homes and supported by BC Housing.

Steps from Edmonds SkyTrain station, residents enjoy easy access to shopping, schools, parks, and everything that makes a neighbourhood feel like home.

Our 3rd floor units are named in loving memory of Susana Cogan z"l, whose leadership shaped Tikva from 2006 to 2017.

Building on her legacy, families here find more than a home — they find hope, stability, and a community to belong to.

Some helpful reminders:
☀️ Know the signs of heat illness — dizziness, nausea, headache, and confusion shouldn't be ignored.
☀️ Find a place to cool down. Visit Vancouver.ca/hotweather to find your nearest cooling station.
☀️ Build a Cool Kit and keep a thermometer handy to check indoor temperatures.
☀️ Download the Alertable app for public safety alerts and City of Vancouver updates.

We're thrilled to celebrate a pivotal step forward! JWest has received rezoning approval from Vancouver City Council, moving this landmark redevelopment one giant step closer to reality.

A milestone years in the making, the JWest project will bring 630 units of rental housing across two residential towers, plus a much-needed expansion of the JCC and King David High School, anchoring the rapid transformation of the Cambie-Oakridge corridor— already the heart of Jewish life here in Vancouver.

This next chapter resonates deeply for us at Tikva. It's a powerful reminder of what's possible when a community comes together with a shared vision and the patience to see it through.
