Centre for the Study of Gender, Social Inequities and Mental Health The Centre is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)’s Institute for Gender and Health through a Centres for Research Development program.

Our researchers and community partners are working together on initiatives to develop programs, policies, and interventions that will ultimately improve the mental health of men and women in Canada and the international community. We are a hub for international scholars, community-based researchers, policy makers, health agencies, practitioners and people with lived experience of mental health and substance use issues who are committed to eliminating social inequities in mental health.
