Kismet offers a range of experiential and arts-based workshops.

We take an anti-oppressive and equity-building approach that emphasizes meeting each other and ourselves where we are at to build awareness. Our workshops offer opportunities to connect the dots between the individual, interpersonal and systemic. Together we will unlearn and interrupt oppressive, hurtful behaviours and learn to truly celebrate and embrace the diversity and beauty of our communitie

Who We are:
gavin kade is a white trans genderq***r human who uses creativity as a source of connection to exploration and growth. working to strengthen communities through art and facilitation, gavin is a performer, creator and cofounder of Kismet Workshops. gavin is a settler on the traditional unceded coast salish territories and aims to address the impact of marginalized identities through an intersectional lens. in their spare time, gavin can be found exploring with their dog felony, playing/writing music, visiting their partner in whistler or spending time with friends.

lee williams boudakian (uses they/them/theirs pronouns) is a mixed race, q***r, trans, interdisciplinary artist and facilitator. lee arrives at artmaking and art as a means for survival, community building, world visioning, and resistance against systems of oppressions towards liberation and healing. they also just really love art in all kinds of shapes and forms. lee is the co-founder of Kismet Workshops and is currently building other love projects like ShapeShift Arts (www.shapeshiftarts.com), Kalik (www.kalik.org), and faciliting arts-based workshops towards social/political/healing change.

We offer *sliding scale quotes for our workshops. Please be in touch with what you are looking for and we will get back to you with a quote.

*sliding scale suggests that you pay according to what feels affordable to you within the range. If cost is a barrier or you have further questions on how much you can pay, please be in touch. Payment plans are also options.
