We want to thank TD Bank Branch Mangers Bernice Wong (450 Main Street), Karen So, (Granville and 12th), and Clement Leung (Dunbar and 26th) for their generous $1000 donations on behalf of their branch, for a total of $3000 invested into Mission Possible's Employment Readiness Program!

Bernice, Karen, and Clement joined us for a tour of Mission Possible's office and connected with MP's Associate Ambassador and program graduate, Esther.

Esther came through MP's doors about a year ago and successfully completed the Employment Readiness Program. Esther is passionate about sharing her lived experiences with anyone who's connected to MP as our Associate Ambassador!

Thank you so much to the Cover Genius Vancouver office for joining us at Mission Possible for Pack and Give Back! This volunteer initiative involves assembling care packages for our associates to take home and enjoy.

Together, they assembled 100 care packages and got them into the hands of our associates, helped us make reminder calls to potential associates seeking to join the ERP, and they also took part in a Wellness Check & Naloxone Training!

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

On this day, we take the time to recognize the resilience of residential school Survivors, their families, and Indigenous Peoples; and we honour those who did not make it home alongside everyone that has been impacted by the deep rooted trauma caused by the school system, ongoing injustices, and colonial practices.

At our all staff meeting earlier this month, we were asked to consider what "Truth" and "Reconciliation" really mean. "Truth" being an acknowledgement of the harms and injustices done, and "Reconciliation" being the action taken, in conversation with Indigenous Peoples and Communities, to restore and heal these relationships everyday with proper respect.

We invite everyone to join us in thinking about how our own personal actions of acknowledging, listening, engaging, and learning can contribute to Truth and Reconciliation.

"Sometimes I don't believe how far I've made it."

Have you read Rochelle's story from our FY25-26 Annual Report? 📄 Rochelle was born in the northern Manitoba community of Tadoule Lake. With limited activities and access to education, Rochelle had her first encounters with substances at the age of 14.

After facing many challenges and struggling with substance use, it wasn't until she had lost everything before she went into a recovery program. That step was life-changing, leading to a series of improvements to her life including joining Mission Possible's Women's Team followed by our Peer Support Training Program.

Can you believe it? Over 2,980 Bags of Litter were collected off the street of Vancouver by our Clean Team in August! 👏 🤯 That number means more than just good for our environment, it also means that our Associates were given the opportunity to regain stability in their lives through paid work experience!

Mission Possible’s 2025-2026 Annual Report is here! This report gives you some insight into the past year of impact and transformation we have seen at Mission Possible! 🧡

You’ll meet Rochelle, a tenacious graduated associate who struggled with substance use and faced overwhelming challenges before joining the Employment Readiness Program and turning her life around.

You’ll also get the chance to read about the stats and impact of our Program and Social Enterprises, see our financial results, get a closer look at our partnership with GCT, as well as learn about our Peer Support Training Program!

Having the opportunity to look back reminds us what’s possible when people are given the opportunity and support they deserve. It also helps drive us to continue growing our programs and social enterprises to meet the needs of our community.

Saying farewell to summer with an MP Staff Social! ☀️ We had some delicious frozen custard with our neighbours Lucy’s Frozen Custard and Cookies 🍦then we went to the park for some team time and a variety of fun games! 🏸🏈
