Inspired by the vibrant energy of a Brazilian carnival, this special fundraiser in support of MOSAIC’s I Belong Program will bring community members together for a joyful evening in support of a meaningful cause. 🎭

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Director of Communications to help amplify our voice and grow our impact.

We welcome folks with lived experience who came to Canada as refugees or had to migrate from their ancestral homelands within Canada because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Canada was created by immigrants out of a multitude of Indigenous nations and without their consent. We seek guidance and leadership to help us communicate our message in ways that are respectful, place-based, and culturally appropriate.

If you believe in the power of storytelling, community, and purpose-driven work, this could be for you.

🌱 250 bags of fresh produce.�🌈 Growing more than food, growing belonging.

Through the Rainbow Refugee Garden Project, 2SLGBTQIA+ refugees are growing food, leadership, and community. Led by “Jordan”, a refugee with lived experience, this initiative is strengthening both food security and belonging.

Rainbow Refugee’s Rainbow Garden Project has helped newcomers cope with escalating food prices by growing more than just healthy food. It also grows awareness about solutions to the affordability challenges facing Canadian communities.

Each week, volunteers gathered to plant, harvest, and give back — building what many now call their “farm family.”
