🎉 Congratulations to our newest AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising graduates!

Last week, a fantastic group of fundraisers came together for two full days of learning, conversation, and connection at the AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course.

From building strong donor relationships and integrated fundraising programs to securing gifts, working with volunteers, marketing and accountability, they covered a lot of ground — and we were thrilled to celebrate with them as they received their certificates at the end of the course.

👏 Congratulations to everyone who completed the program! We hope you left with new ideas, practical tools and connections you can carry into your work and your organizations.

And a HUGE thank you to the incredible faculty who shared their experience and expertise throughout the two days:

We’re excited to welcome Emma Gauvin, Director of Psychosocial & Adult Services, and Mike Taculad, Team Lead of Adult Vocational Services, both from BC Centre for Ability.

With decades of experience in health, social services, employment and disability services, Emma and Mike will bring valuable perspectives to a conversation about accessibility, inclusion and creating more welcoming experiences across the nonprofit sector.

AFP Global membership dues are changing on October 1, 2026 for Young Professional, Small Nonprofit, Large Nonprofit, and E-Global memberships.

If your membership renews on or after October 1, you can renew early to lock in your current Global and local chapter dues for one more year.
*Professional and Associate membership dues will not increase.
