Balding for Dollars If we can bring a little happiness to families during such a difficult time, it makes everything worth it.

We are a charity organization that operates in partnership with the BC Children's Hospital Foundation to support children and families being treated in the Oncology, Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant program at BC Children's Hospital. Balding for Dollars is an organization in partnership with the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation that raises funds to support programs that benefit Oncology, Hem

atology and Bone Marrow Transplant patients in BC. The money raised goes into programs that support our patients’ quality of life while undergoing treatments and beyond, and donated hair is used to make wigs for kids.

Our 27th annual Balding for Dollars main event was an incredible success!

Thank you to all of the volunteers, vendors and participants that make this event such a special experience for everyone!

We raised over $52,000 and counting!

Thank you everyone who donated, cut and shaved their hair and helped raise value funds for our organization!

Join us this Saturday from 11-3pm for the 27th Annual Shave for the Brave at BC Children’s Hospital.

It’s going to be a warm weekend so why not stay cool with a fresh shave while supporting a good cause? You can register online or drop-in at the event.

Admission is free and most activities are by donation. Triple O’s will be on site all day serving up a kid- and family-friendly menu with partial proceeds going to Balding for Dollars.
