The marking of cycles and of seasons is something we have done as human-beings since the beginning of time. Our Ancestors put their time, energy and focus into charting this passing of time with such exquisite accuracy and care. Cultures throughout the world have found different ways to honour the passing of time, to gather with intention, to celebrate, to witness and to be witnessed.

In the Andes, the June Solstice is also the start of the Andean New Year and is a significant marking of time to give gratitude and reflect on all that has passed, and to plant seeds for the future.

This time of year also marks the beginning of the harvest season and celebrates the source of life and our Divine origins. It is also a time to honour the energy of Father Sun through the colourful Inti Raymi Festival held in Cusco each June 24th.

Jhaimy will begin our Solstice Community Celebration with a traditional opening prayer and flow into Andean teachings connected to this time of the year and to the energy of Father Sun, the Fire Suyu teachings, and to rebirth and celebration. We will complete our time with a beautiful guided meditation and healing process to support us in feeling centred, grounded and connected.

Come join us for our Andean New Year & June Solstice Celebration!
Friday, June 19 | 12–1 PM PDT

A recording will be made available if you can't attend live.

Join Jhaimy Alvarez-Acosta & Payton Nyquvest in an open conversation about working with Master Plants with reverence, humility and care.
🌿
This gathering is for practitioners, facilitators, and those who feel called to deepen their relationship with Master Plants, coming together with others on a similar journey to receive perspective rooted in lineage, tradition, and lived experience. Jhaimy will offer his perspective as someone who has walked this path for over 30 years, sharing how to honour the depth and sacred power of these relationships in a way that respects the wisdom these masters carry. Payton will bring his own unique lens as a leader in the conscious healing space, weaving together ancient wisdom and contemporary context to explore what it means to engage with Master Plants responsibly and with humility.

This conversation is more than a talk. It is a shared space where Jhaimy and Payton will welcome your reflections and questions, making room for genuine connection and dialogue. This also marks the beginning of a new monthly series offered through The Path, for those who are ready to go deeper.

Whether you are seeking a clearer understanding of lineage, the practice of being in ceremony, or how to walk this path with greater reverence and impeccability, these conversations are a doorway into something larger. Step in and experience a community living through lineage, grounded daily practice, immersive retreats, and sacred mentorship.

The path is made by walking, and this is one place to begin.
🌿
All are welcome, be our Guest to attend.

Special note: There will be a recording of the conversation portion of the call for those not able to make it live. We encourage those who have questions / reflections to join live that day as the 2nd portion of the call will not be recorded.

Northern Peru holds one of the most powerful ceremonial landscapes in the Andes. Its deserts, rivers, mountains, and ancient temples carry the memory of civilizations that shaped spiritual understanding thousands of years ago.

Long before the rise of the Inca Empire, cultures across this region created sacred centres designed to connect human life with the cosmos, the land, and the spirits of the mountains. Many of these traditions continue today through Elders and ceremonial lineages who maintain this relationship between people, place, and spirit.

At the heart of this living tradition is Apu Huachuma, often referred to as a Master Plant or Master Teacher. For millennia, Huachuma has been approached in ceremony as a guide of the heart, supporting clarity, healing, and deeper connection with life. In the Andean worldview, Huachuma is not simply a plant, but a living intelligence approached with care, reverence, and proper guidance.

Is the historical, cultural and ceremonial significance of journeying to Northern Peru & Chavin calling to you?

Reach out to us directly if you would like to hear more about our pilgrimage to Peru this October.

Here at C7Rays it is one of the our favourite ways in which to connect with our global community - to thoughtfully be able to gather people from around the world to work with the energy of these powerful portals and passages of time.

Traditional Indigenous knowledge provides a blueprint and map for us from which to navigate these times. With teachings, rituals and practices that allow us to pause in the moment and connect to what is occurring both in our micro lives here on Mother Earth and in the Cosmic weavings of the macro. What a gift.

There is something that happens when a community begins to tend its fire in a deeper way. Not all at once, but steadily. With care, consistency, and people returning to what matters.

These past few months inside of YACHAY WASI have felt like that. A strengthening. A commitment to the work. A fire being steadily cared for.

Each month, we gather online in circle with Jhaimy. We work with the teachings, listen closely, and ask real questions. Over time, this begins to shape how you walk your path in a practical and grounded way.

Alongside Yachay, our sacred learning, there has been Llanqay, our sacred work. Tending a garden. Building sacred spaces with our hands. Sharing meals. Pausing together during meditations to reset and refocus. These are the spaces where the teachings move into daily life.

Our private group chat has become a consistent point of connection throughout the week. Reflections are shared, simple prompts keep the work close, and there is an ongoing sense of continuity that supports each person in staying engaged with their path.

The Mesa Path continues to unfold. This past month, a new cohort placed their heart stone, marking the beginning of a new stage in their journey. At the same time, others are moving deeper into advanced Mesa teachings, working with the Seven Andean Principles and the Chakana in a more embodied way. There is a clear commitment to living the teachings, not just learning them.

At the same time, life continues to move through the community.

We have gathered to welcome new babies. We have taken time to honour loved ones as they transition into the Spirit world. There is space for both, held in a way that is steady and real.

Looking ahead, more is opening.

Two of Jhaimy’s beloved Elders will be joining us as guest teachers in the coming months, sharing their knowledge and perspective during our monthly gatherings. It brings an added depth to the space and connects the work to a longer lineage of practice and lived experience.

What is becoming clear is simple. The fire in this circle is enduring. It is being tended. And it continues to grow through consistent, shared practice.

If something here has been sparked for you, consider this your invitation.

The circle is here when you are ready to step in. We would love to welcome you home.

Our Ancestors put their time, energy and focus into charting the passing of time with such exquisite accuracy and care.

The marking of the Equinox is a powerful time to work with the energy of this earthly-cosmic portal and to prepare our intention, our energy and our path that we choose to walk.

We invite you to come to our Free Community Event in honour of this sacred time. No experience is necessary, come as you are.

The Mesa Path is a sacred bridge from your inner world to your outer experience. It provides a map and a blueprint from which to live your life in a balanced, grounded and harmonious way.

It has been practised in the Andes for thousands of years and weaves together Indigenous teachings and a worldview that values being in right-relationship with all of our relations, both here on Earth and in the Cosmos.
