For Simone, being a Wish Mom has shown her firsthand just how much a wish can mean to a child and their family.
Her son’s medical journey included surgeries, MRIs, appointments, and the uncertainty that comes with living with a critical illness that has no cure. His wish gave him something entirely different to hold onto: excitement, hope, and the chance to simply be a kid.
“Watching him count down the days, dream about what was ahead, and then experience the joy of his wish was incredibly meaningful. Even now, those memories continue to lift him up during difficult times.”
That experience inspired Simone to join Women for Wishes and help other children and families experience that same sense of hope, strength, and joy when they need it most.
