Our team had the opportunity to visit the newly built Freedom Mobile Arch at the PNE, an incredible project brought to life by our longtime partners at EllisDon Corporation (and this year’s generous Dinner Sponsor for our golf tournament).

Set to become one of Vancouver’s premier entertainment venues, the Freedom Mobile Arch features a world-class open-air design and one of the largest free-span mass timber canopies in North America. The venue will also play a major role during the FIFA World Cup 2026, serving as the centrepiece of Vancouver’s official FIFA Fan Festival at Hastings Park.

It’s exciting to see a project of this scale and significance taking shape right here in our community. We’re grateful for EllisDon’s continued partnership and commitment to building not only landmark projects, but stronger communities as well. 🧡

This week, our leadership team had the opportunity to attend the World Employment Conference in Toronto alongside employment and workforce development leaders from around the globe. The conference was an incredible opportunity to learn, connect, and bring new ideas back to our work at EMBERS Staffing.

Thank you to the organizers, speakers, and everyone who shared insights and inspiration throughout the week. We’re excited to continue building pathways to meaningful employment and economic inclusion in the communities we serve!

We’re currently recruiting participants for a paid conversational AI research study taking place in Central Vancouver.

This project involves recording casual, two-person conversations to help improve how AI systems understand natural human communication. We are specifically looking for native or fluent English speakers who can comfortably engage in authentic, everyday conversation.

Participants can earn up to $200 cash for up to two 4.5 hour shifts, with flexible weekday and weekend scheduling available.

No acting or technical experience is required. This opportunity may be especially appealing to university students, freelancers, or individuals looking for flexible supplemental income. Participant privacy is a priority, and project agreements explicitly prohibit the use of recordings for deepfake generation or digital recreation. Conversations, photos, videos, and recordings are confidential and will not be shared or released publicly.
