At our tournament on Monday, we celebrated two members of the EMBERS community that embody the event name, Against All Odds.

🏆 Against All Odds Award — Rokundo

Rokundo has faced significant challenges on his journey, but through it all, he has continued to show up, work hard and build a future for himself. Today, he works steadily at the Oakridge site through EMBERS Staffing, demonstrating the kind of perseverance and dedication this award represents.

🏆 Alumni Award — Elham

After moving to Canada from Iran, Elham worked her way up through the construction industry, building her skills and experience along the way. Today, she has reached the role of CSO, a testament to her determination, hard work and commitment to her career.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate both Rokundo and Elham. Their journeys remind us why creating opportunities - and supporting people as they pursue them - matters. 🧡

16 years of golf, community, and giving back ⛳️

Thank you to everyone who came out swinging for our 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament! From our golfers and sponsors to our volunteers, partners, and everyone who helped bring it all together, this wouldn’t have been possible without you!

Special Thanks to University Golf Club for hosting us all day, and here’s a look back at a great day on their beautiful course!
