πŸ‘¨β€βš•οΈ June is Men’s Health Month.

Men often delay seeking medical care and discussing symptoms openly β€” and similar delays can happen with pulmonary hypertension.

Although PH is more common in women, studies suggest men with PH face significantly higher mortality rates. This highlights the need for earlier recognition, diagnosis, and a better understanding of sex-based differences in PH care.

This June, make your health a priority: listen to your body, talk to your healthcare provider, and don’t wait when something doesn’t feel right.

Stigma has never been researched before in relation to people with PH so this is an opportunity to share your thoughts as part of a first-of-its-kind study.

Please follow this link to take part: phauk.org/stigma

You will need to read an online information sheet before beginning the survey. If you have any questions, please contact the lead researcher, Sophie Baker, at [email protected]
