In 2008, Nick and Max Lindley-Peart's parents, Danny Peart (far right) and Dr. Janette Lindley (far left), stood on the roof of Africa.

They had just summited Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for the Kilimanjaro Centre for Community Ophthalmology (KCCO) in Moshi, Tanzania — our partner dedicated to eliminating avoidable blindness across the continent by strengthening eye health systems.

Danny, who passed in March 2025, carried that mountain with him for the rest of his life. 💙

This August, Nick and Max are following in his footsteps — continuing his legacy of compassion, one summit at a time.
