University Neighbourhoods Association The purpose of the UNA is set out in its constitution and by-laws. The agreement is amended as needed, most recently in 2015.

The University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) delivers municipal-like services to residents living in neighbourhoods in the University of British Columbia (UBC) Point Grey Campus. The University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) was incorporated as a not-for-profit society in 2002 to provide the residents of UBC’s residential neighbourhoods with services that encourage a sustainable community lif

The UNA oversees the major residential neighbourhoods around UBC’s campus: Wesbrook Village, Hampton Place, Chancellor Place, Hawthorn Place, East Campus, and the newly developed Central District. It manages infrastructure such as street and sidewalk repairs, and regulates matters of concern in the public realm such as parking and noise. The areas of responsibility are set out in greater detail in the Neighbourhood Agreement with UBC. The schedules to the agreement are in development. Residents opinions, views and concerns are heard through the UNA who works with external stakeholders to shape future development of residential areas at UBC.

Week 3: Amazing Animals (July 20-24) - This Summer Adventures Camp is filled with crafts, outdoor exploration, and activities inspired by creatures from around the world. Campers will discover animal habitats through scavenger hunts, create nature-inspired art, and learn more about wildlife and environmental care through hands-on activities and games. Week 1: Nature Explorers (July 6-10) – This Summer Adventures Camp focuses on discovering the wonders of the natural world through hands-on outdoor adventures, creative art projects, and nature-inspired activities. Campers will connect with the outdoors through rock painting, forest walks, natural art, and exploration-based games while building a deeper appreciation for the environment around them. Includes a special trip to the UBC Botanical Garden & Greenheart TreeWalk at UBC Botanical Garden, where campers will learn about plants, sustainability, and experience the excitement of walking high among the trees.
