As a non-profit basketball organization based in Surrey, British Columbia, our team at Resilience Basketball aims to dedicate crucial time towards the development of young athletes into resilient and hard-working players. From the grassroots level and up, we share not just important basketball skills, but valuable life-lessons that they will be able to carry on throughout their growth as children and young adults. We believe in an environment where our athletes can inspire and push each other to their limits, while growing their values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.

Currently, their programs consist of a Jr NBA sponsored program that focuses on the development of our young grassroots community, club AAU teams that range from ages U11 to U15, and private training sessions for those that want to unlock their full potential while working in small groups. ADELYNN CUPINO-YAMBAO - REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Adelynn Cupino-Yambao is a Filipino-Canadian pageant titleholder, director, and mentor based in Vancouver, British Columbia. With over two decades in pageantry, her journey has evolved from competitor to director, mentor, and community leader. She has trained pageant representatives for Miss Universe Canada, Miss Asia Canada, Miss Vancouver and Bb. Pilipinas (Miss Philippines).

Adelynn first gained national recognition as Miss International Canada 2004, representing Canada in Tokyo and Beijing. She later returned to the stage to be crowned Mrs. Philippines World 2022 in Hawaii, and subsequently represented the Philippines at Mrs. World 2022 in Las Vegas. Her earlier titles include Miss Petite International Canada 2003 and Bb. Pilipinas International of BC 2002.

Alongside her career in social services with the Government of British Columbia, Adelynn is CEO and Director of Miss Philippines International of BC & Canada, where she focuses on empowering Filipina-Canadian women through confidence-building, cultural pride, and community service.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Simon Fraser University and is a proud mother of two.

We are so excited to have Adelynn serve as the BC Regional Director, a role that reflects both her longstanding commitment to the pageant community and her passion for empowering others. Welcome Adelynn!
